The second of five issues in the RAF centenary series, the coin was released in individual Brilliant Uncirculated packs (31,725 sales) and third-party tubes (41,327 sales). The coin was also part of a Mail Aircraft Stamp and Coins PNC (684 sales), and the design was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof.
