"Mart 1323'te (L. 247) basılması emredilen Charles IV'ün maille blanche'ının bir taklidi olan bu sikke, o kadar erken bir tarihte yapılmış olabilir. Ancak [Françoise Dumas-Dubourg tarafından] incelenen nüshanın başlığı bu basımı Temmuz 1326'da kararlaştırılan ikinci kraliyet basımına yaklaştırmaktadır (‰878 yerine ‰718 -- L. 247a). Bu ağ, tipi, efsaneleri ve taşıdığı farklı çekiç şekliyle, Eudes IV'ün prensliğinin başlangıcında üretimine başlanan denarius ve obole ile ilişkilendirilebilir."
