Security Thread Present

In 1994, the "real-fake Zaïres" affair broke out: 500-franc notes, printed in Argentina by Ciccone Calcográfica without official authorization, flooded the country. Although technically authentic, they caused a major monetary crisis. These notes today embody a unique historical episode in Zaire.
