It has UV-visible security features: in the printed field near the date of issue is the emblem of Poland in a frame, which glowes in blue, below is the series and numbering glowing in gold. Some CE series banknotes do not have this ultraviolet protection.
This banknote has been in circulation for as many as 27 years without changing the graphics, signatures or date, an absolute record in the history of Polish banking.
