Tarihsel bağlam:
Krone banknotlarının 4. baskısı İkinci Dünya Savaşından önce zaten yolda idi. Savaşın patlak vermesi ve gravürlerin Londra'da Thomas de la Rue tarafından yapılması nedeniyle. Dolayısıyla Norveç Bankası'nın elinde baskıya başlamak için gravürler yoktu, özellikle de 100 Kronluk banknot plakası yoktu.
Plana göre banknotun ön yüzünde yakın dönemin önde gelen Norveçli şahsiyetlerinden biri yer alacaktı.
Arka yüzünde ise Speciedaler'in 5. sayısında olduğu gibi 4 geleneksel mesleği göstermek için bilinen Norveç resimleri ya da diğer figürler kullanılacaktı.
Bu meslekler şunlardır: Tarım, gemicilik, balıkçılık ve fırıncılık.
Ancak ilk olarak tarım, çiftçilik ve ormancılık olarak ikiye ayrıldı. Fırıncılık modernleşerek sanayiye dönüştü ve yeni bir meslek olarak kültür ve manevi yaşam eklendi.
Ters resimlerin bazıları rekonstrüksiyon, bazıları ise özel olarak bu durum için yapılmıştır.
Hükümdar:
Bu banknotlar 1955'ten 1963'e kadar, yani hem Kral Haakon VII'nin 1957'deki ölümüne kadar, hem de ondan sonra Kral Olav V'in sonuna kadar çıkarılmıştır.
