Of the one peseta notes, two issues were made, the first of which does not include the imprint. For unknown reasons, the 25-cent bills were never issued, although quite a few were printed at the press. The new banknotes began to circulate at the end of November and in the municipal session of November 25, it was agreed to give one month to change the old banknotes for the new ones. All these tickets were printed by the Cooperativa Arts Gràfiques de Ripoll, which grouped the three printers of the town, and charged 2095 pesetas for their printing. The first tickets were issued on behalf of the Municipal Council and those of the last issue on behalf of the City Council. The definitive withdrawal was set on August 2, 1938, according to the municipal agreement of July 1, 1938 (DOGC).
