During the starting years of the second world war, the Germans were in need of iron. As they couldn't get much from their own land, they went to Sweden for a steady supply of iron ore.
 The allies noticed the supplying of the germans and attempted to block the supplies, which as expected, failed.
 The germans raced the allies to Norway as the swedish supply line was very important. The germans successfully captured Norway and gained aerial superiority over the allies, thus assuring their iron supply.
 This banknote was made in the beginning year of the invasion but many alike were made during the years through the entire second world war up until 1950.
