(en) This token was included in the Royal Australian Mints Baby Mint six coin set, in the three years from 2012 to 2014.
The idea was that you could get a baby's name and birth date engraved on the blank side of the token as a keepsake.
The "Dot & the Kangaroo" theme is based on Ethel Pedly's series of children's books.
