Holographic feature:

The map of Costa Rica on the obverse is printed in colour-shifting ink which changes colour from emerald green, to turquoise, and finally blue when the note is tilted and features a bright floating ring inside of it that simultaneously moves while the colour changes.

The patterns over the transprent window are printed in colour-shifting ink as well, changes colour from gold to purple-brown when the note is tilted:
