This Gadhaiya is a Malwa issue

the ruler, based on different inscriptions (copper plates), is variously named as Jayavarman, Jayasimha and Jaitrasimhadeva

 

Maheshwari identified two varinats of this inscribed coin - 

Type 1 - 

Obverse: with the letter Ja behind the bust, (catalog coin no's 946-947)

Reverse: devnagari legend in two lines sri jaitravra madeva

 

Type 2 - 

Obverse: Ja is replaced by a symbol, Fig 74, (catalog coin no's 948-955)

Reverse: devnagari legend in two lines sri jaitravra madeva
