Obverse

(en) Coin-striking scene showing 2 figures:
- On the left, a man seated on a stool raises a hammer high above his head, ready to strike. With his other hand, he steadies a punch or die that rests on top of a blank planchet lying on a small anvil or table. His clothing looks like stylized historical garb — puffed sleeves, perhaps Renaissance-style.
- On the right, another man (or apprentice) is seated, watching closely or possibly handing over materials. His pose suggests instruction or supervision.
The table between them shows a scatter of round blanks or struck coins, reinforcing the minting theme.

Reverse

(en) A detailed scene of early mechanized minting powered by animals:
In the center is a large vertical spindle with a gear system branching out like a tree.
Attached to this spindle are beams to which oxen are harnessed. The animals walk in a circle, turning the spindle.
Above, you see toothed gears that transmit this motion upwards.
