Type imitating directly the Anglo-Saxon denier (reigns of Edward I to Edward III), on the obverse the crowned head and on the reverse a cross quartering with 4 groups of 3 globules. Often referred to as "lushbournes" or "lussenburgers", these coins were imported massively into England, and caused great harm as they were of lighter weight and nature.

The weight of the coins listed by Weiller was: 1.28 g. 1.39 g. and 1.51 g.
Two variants of the legend of the obverse and reverse are known:
