Description
Official Greek BU coin set of 8 coins.
The 2 Euro coin depicts Europa being abducted by Zeus, who has taken the form of a bull. Europa is a figure from Greek mythology after whom Europe was named. The 1 Euro coin features an owl copied from an ancient Athenian coin. The 10, 20 and 50 cent coins represent leading Greek personalities. The 1, 2 and 5 cents depict boats and ships throughout Greek history.
