1985 - Australian Proof Set Standard Coins

This 7 coin Proof Year Set was issued by the RAM in 1985.

There were seven standard definition coins included, 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c & $1.

1985 was the first Year that the Raphael David Maklouf 3rd Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was used on the Obverse of the coins.

It was also the first year that the new $1 coin was included, although the coin was first minted in 1984

Coins were issued in a sealed clear plastic slab which was clipped into a blue plastic folder.
