The 8-coin set includes denominations from 1 cent to 2 Euro, featuring the Madara Horseman (1-50 cents) - a rock relief from the 8th century, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, St. Ivan of Rila (€1) - a Bulgarian spiritual leader who lived as a hermit monk and St. Paisius of Hilendar (€2) - a Bulgarian enlightener and clergyman, author of the “Slavo-Bulgarian History”: the first work of Bulgarian Historiography.
All coins feature the word "БЪЛГАРИЯ" (Bulgaria) in Cyrillic, with "стотинка/стотинки" (cent/cents) or "евро" (euro) in Cyrillic script.
