Sadly it doesn’t. The coins were rushed into production and the mintmark is very small, so they frequently came out looking like that.

If you look at the picture on the coin page you'll see what GoldenGarfield is talking about displayed there as well. Even on a quality example, the mintmark comes out a bit...blobby. It's a normal characteristic of the coin that's slightly interesting from a trivia standpoint, but doesn't add any numismatic value.

Circulation coins (which yours appears to be) all have the Type 1 mintmark. The difference is only found in Proofs.
