Ian it says $1600 USD is that correct? https://www.silveragecoins.com/mobile/en/details?item=15641
The Values are as Value Range for Year 1933 with Mintage of 10,250,000 F :- $0.30 up to UNC :- $15.50

If you compare your pictures to the photograph on the Numista page for this coin, you'll notice that the details don't really match up.

What you've likely got here is a fake of what would be a fairly pricey coin.

Sorry Ian, but you're talking about the 10 Centesimi 1933 while the question is about the 10 Lire 1933.

As this gentleman said, this is a very rare coin and only 50 were made for collectors in 1933. A prime candidate and most likely a counterfeit. Weight is a bit off so I would START to authenticate it's composition with silver tests. Even on the surface, it looks to me to be a bit crude in detail with a washed out gray and un natural surface. However, if authentic and slabbed these are the approximate retail values. Remember, 50 made and would have been very well taken care of by a collector while yours looks rather shabby.

Unfortunately one of the less-well made fakes I've seen.

1933 is a collectors-only date for this type with pretty much none on the market. It’s highly likely you have a fake I’m afraid. The colour also seems very off for a coin that should be UNC.
