I recently received some coins of which this was one.
As you can see there is a fair amount of wear on the coin (including the value) but I managed to find what I believe to be the correct listing in the catalogue https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces242486.html (as post title). The diameter is 27mm and weight is 5.18g which corresponds with this coin.
My question is can you either confirm or rectify my findings please.
Good eye.
The link in OP's post is the correct coin but in the wrong currency. The frozen date 1255 (1839) would fall in the Kurus (1688-1844) currency but the real date is the frozen date + regnal year (at least 15 = 1853) which brings this type in the Lira (1844 - 1923) currency.
So your link is the correct one but the much bigger pictures of the other link are better for the catalog.
By the way, the OP's coin must be this one, and although his coin has some wear (especially in the middle where the denomination is) in my opinion that wear can't justify a difference in weight of about 2.5 g.

My duplicate request says to keep the N#19337 but use the N#242486 pictures (and change the regnal year to match). I was confused about the weight at first then realized the year 19 was thin planchet with weight 4.9 to 5.7 g.

My bad. I hadn't noticed there was a change in weight during the years the coin was struck. I've only looked at the specified weight at the features section, which was 7.5 g. or 7.93 g. depending on the link, which was far too high in comparison with the weight of OP's coin, hence my reaction.
Thanks guys, I am glad I managed to work the coin out myself (to a point) and you have taught me that it is a regnal year on these (and other) coins. Strangely enough I saw the weight differences between planchets right away. To be fair I didn't really look at the features box until after the pictures and annual variations.
So I should remove my entry from N#242486 and enter it on the N#19337 page at 1255 (1957) or just leave it where it is?
You can choose. If you leave it as it is it will be corrected automatically. Rsirian1 submitted a duplicate listings request. As soon as this is validated the two links will be merged together (and the owners too) and your coin will automatically in the correct entry. Of course, it's always smart to check if it's okay. You can follow up the request here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic109748.html. You can see, for the moment it's not validated yet. If you remove your coin and reenter it in the other link, it's corrected immediately and you don't have to follow it up.
N#242486 has one of the best translations I've seen, the translation of the reverse, "The glory of his victory was struck in Constantinople." It will be missed.

I just saw your duplicate request is validated but unfortunately they didn't use the much bigger pictures from the N#242486 listing. I suppose you didn't save those pictures on your hard drive? (I sometimes do that in such cases, till the request has been validated)

I saw that too a couple of days ago and immediately kicked myself in the butt for not saving the pictures. So...is it possible to get an archived version of the page or should I request permission to use Stuart15's pictures?
I am following this topic so in anticipation of any request I would be happy for you to use my pictures. I could try and take better pictures if you want.

The problem is on your coin the denomination worn away and to be honest, the denomination is a fairly important part of a picture. And if i recall correctly the picture on that other link was really good. I'll ask Oleg if there's an archived version of that picture.
Sometimes I surprise myself. I just did a google search for https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces242486.html and of course came up with the "Page not found" page. Then I messed around a bit and came up with a cached google page of the original page.
So I now have the pictures and the member's name. I'll submit a change request.
In this case the first one is the coin and the second one is actually this forum post
click on the 3 dots
then click Cached on the pop-up
That opens the last cached web page, in this case the one from May 27, 2021.
I'm don't know how often they update but eventually it will be replaced with the Page not found page.
