Hello,

a small reminder to everyone who wishes to participate in the MPCC.

You are free to enter by sending me in a private message the picture of your coins, banknotes, medals etc. which you would like to participate with.

Please find here the number of submissions so far for each category:


A - Australia and Oceania + Antartic territories - 3 Entries (+1)
B - Asia - 6 Entries (+1)
C - North America - 7 Entries (+3)
D - South America - 2 Entries (+1)
E - Africa - 5 Entries (+2)
F - Europe - 5 Entries (+1)
G - Ancients - 1 Entry (+1)
H - Medieval - 2 Entries (+1)
I - Exonumia/Tokens/Primitive currency and Fantasy coinage - 4 Entries (+2)
J - Non-circulating Commemorative coins - 5 Entries (+2)
K - Coin Sets - 4 Entries (+2)
L - Banknotes - 6 Entries (+3)

Does Central America and Caribbean count as North America?
And medieval, is that year 1000-1500, or what year span do you coumt as medieval?
Its in the MPCC Competition guidlines.

Medieval category H roughly all coins minted between 600 AD and 1450 AD

Of course some coins the date might not exactly be known so if a coin is known to have been minted for example between 1425 and 1475 it will of course also be approved.
