Hi Guys,
I'm new and just starting to invest more time in coin collection only after I found these old coins from my Grandparent's drawer. I want to start with this 1970 Liberty Quarter Dollar coin. I was intrigued and shocked the value of this coin in the current market. I want to know if my coin I have is one of those valuable coins.
Please help me with my query and hope you could really help me because I could help my Father in Law who recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer that needs immediate operation. By selling the coin, would help with his operation expenses eventually prolong his life. God Bless you guys. Thanks in advance.
Hello Eatay and welcome aboard
it's rare to have a member living next to these amazing mountains dug with bare hands to produce rice in your hot and wet country ...
Prices quoted by ZacUK are for extremely fine coins, the condition of your coin which has circulated gives it a very low value, just for an exchange for one of the rare collectors who does not already have this coin in his collection.

First of all thank you for the warm welcome ❤️ tbh, I don't know yet the meaning of those numbers with corresponding $value sorry. I am still studying and slowly try learning it unt I fully understand.
This means that as per the charts and all that, value in $ if I want to sell it, is very low - how much in $ it is? And you are suggesting to swap it to our fellow member who doesn't have this in his collection instead, right?
I'm cool with that actually however can you guys help me atleast to get something just for the sake of helping. A few $ worth big impact on my need right now.
I do have lots of rare in good shape coins to show. Can you also help me how I could share with the teaming in one go like all of them so you guys can see it? Again, big thanks you guys are awesome! Thank you God Bless!
if it dosent have a mint mark it is the rarest intended for circulation clad eagle reverse washington clad quarter but even so its not that valuable even though its the hardest to find of its type
Ok thanks guys for your replies... appreciate it much. I'll share my other coins for all of you.
To be honest, I'm not a coin collector. I found these coins 2 weeks ago in the drawer of my Grandfather who passed away last year. It was wrapped in 2 seperate old black cloth: 1 black cloth full of Five centavos US on front, Philippines at reverse circulated during American era in Philippines. Mostly 1944-45 found few 1940 below. Another clothe is mixed currency coins. I have attached some photos. I thought of actually just give it to collectors but I realized something important and reason why GrandPa keep it for so long because he knew how tough the life was just to survive during those time and hoped someday these coins could somehow become valuable that could be exchange to monetary value whenever we, his grandsons needs it. He was a photographer here in Olongapo City where US had the largest Military Bases ever established in Asia. So, yeah I thought of passing over these coins by selling it, and you may think worth collecting or have some great value to you as a collector. I know (I hoped 😊) this was his plan as he knew our family won't be rich in the next 50 years because we are really came from a poor family. Poor in a sense you survive everyday but not really poor to be precise 😊. Please attached to reference to these coins the time I found it.
I hope admin mods of this group allow me. Sorry for not telling in advance that I'm not a collector but just wants to pass this coins by selling them. Sorry. And thank you for understanding.

May I suggest you try to sell them somewhere else such as ebay. You may not sell them here. Good luck to you.
