Japan koshu type coin?

Good evening, I've bought this a while ago, but haven't been able to ID it. It weighs about the same as a koshu and has a diameter of 19.5mm. I am not sure if it is actually gold or gilt, but since it weighs the same as a koshu I would lean towards it being gold. Thank you for your insight!
It reads 寛福通寶 - "Kan-fuku Tsūhō". Could be a Japanese numismatic charm or private bullion?

Curiously, according to this Japanese forum, there was this Japanese person who claimed to buy this exact coin object from an auction back in Nov 2020.

It's too nice to be a Koshu coin from the Edo period. Such coins were rougher and crudely made

They won't have that symbol in the middle and no record of them doing straight line cuts across the coin.

The other person linked an article about a similar coin. Their comments about the coin translates to "Is it a small local coin, a commemorative coin, or a privately made one?" meaning they suspect it to be a fantasy or recreation. Japanese make a lot of fantasy and token coins.
Thank you for your insight-the one that is posted is mine, I posted it to reddit a couple years ago and it appears one of the the members there tried to find help in a Japanese forum by reposting it. I was leaning towards some sort of private issue or very local currency, but I might never find out anything more than that. Thank you for your help!
