Hello my friends!

this is my first post of i hope many. A friend of mine has a Scottish Fold cat and I would love to buy a silver proof from the Isle of man.

Is anyone selling one?

Welcome to Numista. If you look closer at the Numista link you provided, unfortunately you will see that no member of this site even claims to possess one let alone willing to sell it. However 2 members claim to have the copper-nickel version.

Hello and welcome to Numista!

I don't know if you noticed but at the bottom of the coin page it shows Numista Rarity index: 93. The 93 indicates that of the 170,847 Numista members, 3 claim one in their collection. Maybe one of those 3 will see this post and have one to sell but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Here's one selling on ebay but pretty pricey. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115242124508

Hi Rick. His link/ page shows 0 members owning the Silver Proof. What are you seeing that I don't see? Maybe I should have said "wanting to exchange one" and misinterpret this index. Numista rarity index at 93 would be an assumption that 3 people actually only claim to own one. Personally I don't take much stock in claims of ownership because I see too many folks who claim to have coins that they actually do not. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces151046.html
Hi, Harry. I was in the middle of posting when I decided to check ebay. I saw your post afterwards. The NRI shows 93 which would indicate 3 people. You're correct in that none have them for swap. My guess is that user mickfinn has one since he posted the picture. Obviously I don't know if there are 2 others that really have one. Regardless, with supply low and demand high (at least one person) the $125 for the one on ebay may be reasonable for a silver one.
