Unsure of what these are.

Long story short a dresser I inherited a dresser from my grandma 15 or so years ago had something hidden in a tiny compartment that had been lacquered over and the painted a few times. If it hadn't gotten damaged I'd have never found these two. This was the entirety of the contents of the compartment. 

 

The first one I just need confirmation on as I think I have it right. I believe it's a German Ravensburg 100 mark ceramic medal or coin from 1923.

The second one is copper and has, I think, Sanskrit on it. It's a very strange little coin. It's heavy and unevenly shaped so I believe it's an older coin. 

 

Possibly Sanskrit?

No the language is in Tamil

I can read : Nakapattanam
