NEED NID / SMARTCARD TO REGISTER A POSTAL MAIL ?

Hi everyone,

In Bangladesh, to send a registered mail,  an NID or smart-card is needed.i was wondering if it's same in other countries.please let me know.

 Not in England, as far as I know. 

Not in Brazil, but we need autorization from the National Historic and Artistic Heritage Institute to send coins.

Not needed in UK, or most EU countries. 

In UK and Ireland, you walk into a post office pay by card or cash, and post your registered letter. 

I have even had registered letters sent to me from both UK and Ireland without a return address on them!
