Identification help required

Hello,  this was recently unearthed but we have no idea of origin of the coin.  If anyone can help identify it that would be most appreciated.  Also should it be cleaned?

Welcome to Numista.  Please provide pictures of both sides of the coin, plus the diameter and weight.

Welcome to Numista. No, please do not even consider an attempt to clean it until you can make an informed decision and it can be identified. I know it is very tempting to do so but it can destroy the potential value and it's collectability. Meantime, please provide the information requested so we can better assist you in it's identification.
