I randomly saw on Instagram there is a new definitiv design of the UK coins. With a theme of Flora and Faunas it's quite a change from the former design from Elizabeth II's time.

I quite like it, but that's just my humble opinion :) My favourits being the 20 Pence and 1 Penny, because they're cute! 😆

I’ve bought both the annual set and the proof set so I’ll show them when they arrive in the coming weeks

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

Those are very nice designs!

Thank goodness those ugly puzzle designs have finally been thrown out!

Hey Jamtrup, thanks for posting this! These coins are super designs – One Pound is already my favourite.
I guess we will begin to see them trickling into circulation early next year.

Much nicer than all those shields, lions and crowns.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

… My favourits being the 20 Pence …

did they permanently incorporate Lundy?

Going against the grain, but I'm not a fan of the lattice design on the left of the reverse. Reminds me of Pobjoy releases for the isles that cheapens the overall design. Not to mention the portcullis and Britannia motifs are timeless designs that I would rather see than squirrels and bees
