Beginner collection

Greetings everyone, I am currently in the process of expanding my coin collection and am exploring cost-effective methods to pursue this . Acquiring individual coins has proven to be rather expensive. I would appreciate any insights or recommendations on procuring coins in bulk at a more economical rate. Additionally, I am interested in learning how you have built your coin collections.

Thank you.

Welcome to numista,

local fleece markets

mix boxes at local coin dealers

swapping your local (Romanian coins) with people from Numista

asking all your friends and family for left over coins from travels outside Romania

In France, I can buy kilo lots of coins, which I did years ago, when I didn't have many coins, now I would eventually find one or two coins in a bunch! A kilo in Paris is around 10-15 Euro, I think.

Happy hunting
