Found in Northern Israel

Hello all,

My son, who has a habit of finding all sorts of things, found this coin here in Northern Israel. From what little I know and what I've seen it looks Turkish, but I have absolutely no idea. I was hoping somebody can help and identifying this. Thank you very much!

I do not know the composition but it is a very light metal with a diameter of 2 cm

Cool! Thank you very much! I'm going to assume that's according to the Muslim calendar, which makes it around 150 years or so. I guess I can ask one of my Arab neighbors if they might understand or recognize anything about it, unless somebody else here can.

What happened to the hole?

A boring Sunday morning with nothing to do, so I quickly filled it in. ✏️

I wonder if this token may be an imitation of N#36944 (or other similar Ottoman coin) and used as jewelry.

Very likely!
