help to identify a large character designator

Would very much like to identify the large character designator on this coin.

A mameita-gin probably from the Genbun – Tenpō era (1736 – 1837):

8 mm, 1.686 g

Don't know which side is obverse/reverse and up/down. I found a similar one with different characters here: N#285498

Your help is very much appreciated.

Looks like “景”

might be “京” too

When I look at dies in catalogs I couldn't find a match but it looks most similar to the style used for the first character in Joze 常.
I am not an expert in these kind of objects and I don't own any so I can only refer to the catalogs for them. It is very tiny, yes they exist in many sizes as they were used to equalize value in silver trades but I couldn't guarantee that this is an official issue or just a privately made contemporary one or simply a fantasy piece.

Thank you coinczrze and Idolenz  for all your answers.

These coins are not the one's I usually collect, so I can't say if it is a fantasy piece.  I got it from HJB pick-bin thinking that it might be Greek. My mistake. Anyway, it is  interesting that they were used to equalize value. Always learning something new, for which I am very grateful.
