There's also these African Pride gold coins from 2020 and 2022 which have 2-4 issuing countries on a single coin!
Just curious what you guys think about these and how we would go about adding them to the catalogue. It feels like they are just getting a bit gimmicky just by slapping multiple coat of arms on there for fun. Let me know if you have any insight. Thanks

How dare they mint coins which won't nicely fit into the Numista catalogue. 😛
I suspect the work around will simply be to list the U.A.C. as an issuing “nation”, like they did for the Central African States or the East Caribbean States.
They both cover currency which is (technically) legal tender across multiple independent nations and/or semi-autonomous territories.
EDIT: Assuming that it is an actual formally recognised entity & not just some fantasy currency using the official seals.
Yeah, I had a feeling something like Western African States would be needed. I do think it's pretty cool to have all the different coats of arms and values, I just feel it will be weird to add them since they all different groups of countries on the obverse. It's interesting that even one's that share the same CFA currency they put 100 CFA, 250 CFA, 3000 CFA, etc. It's unique but also pretty funny, lol.

Just seemed like the obvious step given the other known examples we have. Then I wondered whether the U.A.C. is actually a thing. I know the U.A.Congress is, but not sure if U.A.Countries is as it's labelled on the packaging.
Yeah, it's weird that it would be rejected but this one is allowed to be put under western african states when some of the countries on the obverse like Congo aren't part of western africa.
