There are at least six edge variety characteristics:

1. Non-inverted edge: inscription faces upward toward obverse.

2. Inverted edge: inscription faces downward toward reverse.

3. Two large stars.

4. Two small stars.

5. Different spacing between one word and another.

6. Rotational differences.

Possible intermixing of above varieties.

Hello and welcome to Numista!

I think 1, 2 and 6 are not varieties but are a result of the minting process where the edge is made independent of the faces of the coin.  That leaves #3, 4 and 5. The coin page already states there are two edge varieties but doesn't describe them. Perhaps you will contribute your knowledge by editing the coin page and add a description of the three edge varieties with pictures?
