Hello all, there a typo?. Should it state fractional instead?
I would say no. The actual face value is 1 Dollar, so that should stay. The fractional number is the weight.
The question, I think, was about the spelling of fractional. Fractionnal doesn't exist!
Sorry. Misinterpreted the question.
Agreed, the word fractionnal does not exist.
Yes, I was referring to the spelling of the word. It seemed odd with how it was spelled fractionnal for some and others fractional. In any case, I would think it should be all uniformed for all Canadian coins that are identified as a fraction. If anything, makes it easier for searching.
I changed the page title and await referee approval. Thanks
Yes, it's a mistake (typo or otherwise), it has to be fractional in stead of fractionnal.
Every coin with the same date and denomination should have a specific coin name so everybody exactly knows about which coin your talking. But a specific coin name is sufficient, anything more gives no added value. In this case, there are a lot of Canadian 1 dollar 2014 coins, so the SML fractional is necessary. All the rest is redundant and has no added value. A coin alone is a part of a set but isn't a set, so no need for “set” in the coin name. Besides “set” is already in the series name. And there's only 1 Dollar 2014 (SML fractional). That name is already specific. No need to add 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz etc. Otherwise, why shouldn't we put the weight in every coin name?
I hope also the referee reads this topic - there are 45 other Canadian coins like that.
Surely he can now change those pages himself and not make anyone make 45 requests.
Hopefully ;)
corrections will be made
And maybe while you're at it can the edge notation (specifically it seems when entered in French and translated to English) get straightened out? https://en.numista.com/forum/topic149235.html#p1179254
Numista defines serrated (English) as:

StoneTemple123

The 45 all now have the title changed, thanks.
Yet strangely 32 still have the spelling on the page …
Ah, I clicked on the first in that list, on it
is the Series that has the spelling. Can that also be changed -
or can the Robot do it?

Someone shared this information with me and it's because the fault is in the series too. I'll make the changes soon.
Just wondered if someone higher up could make one change -
changing fractionnal to fractional just removing n letter - in one easy step,
rather than deleting the Series and then having to change 32 pages one by one.
There must be a simple way - to go to the Series page, if there is such a thing,
and change the Series name by one letter. Just asking.
