Unknown roman coin?

Hi I would like to know what kind of coin I have here.

thank you in advance for any help. it looks very barbarian in design perhaps even a imitation coin to pass of as roman.

Something like Sarmatian coins ?

I think it's Roman. The reverse looks like two victories holding a shield above an altar. The obverse helm while rarer than the standard diadem is possible on 4th century coins and I think I can see what used to be a mint mark at 6 o'clock on the reverse. Maybe something like: N#276526

I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

This might make an interesting comparison:

Thank you @cro321, it looks very simular. However mine seems very crude in design. is that normal.

kind regards

I really can't tell. robmax makes a great point about barbarian imitations of this type with his link. I can't read the obverse text from your photos, try reading it yourself. If the text fits it's the one I linked, if it's gibberish then it's the barbarian imitation robmax linked.
