1877-s.Micro s.Size and weight all right.Spent me   $ 530.

My opinion is this, the 1877 S Trade dollar was the most numerous Trade Dollar of the series and are very common having a modest value . Having said that, the 1877 Micro S variety is highly sought after by collectors and adds significant value if genuine. Unfortunately, although I believe your example may be a genuine 1877 Trade Dollar as I am also suspicious of the the D in Dollar in your example, I also believe it could be an altered 1877 P Trade dollar which has no mintmark and the micro S was added in the wrong location and not quite right for a genuine micro S at a later date to imply that additional value.

I am sorry, I am having difficulty adding photos at the moment to show you comparison photos due to adding new antivirus software and associated VPN but If you research it, you can see for yourself.

Edit: Attempt to add photos.

Thank you. I am really wrestling with this new VPN thing I purchased as it wont allow me to do things normally and throws up inexplicable hurdles at times. It even got me blocked from another site for allegedly doing something their system didn't like. I have no idea what happened there. I just might dump this new VPN thing.

My opinion…VPN's cause too much trouble (unless of course you want a site to think you're in a different country so you can get Netflix or you're trying to hack into the DARPA network).

I am starting to realize that. Technology, sheesh. I have been working on the Op's coin for an hour now.
