Dear sir/ma’am, i would like to show you this Phil. BSP 5p 2001 with a different reverse. It has no stars on it on its three corners. The weight , the diameters seems to match with that of other same 5p 2001 coins

in circulations. somehow the script of legend seems to be different to when it comes to sizes.
numista records showed no existence of this “kind”, so i am submitting this specimen i found hopefully for you to examine it. I will appreciate it much if there can be a clear information regarding this matter.

thank you.

Hi ABBE,

please give us the numista link to your coin's page, that makes it easier for us to help you.

A part from that, I have documented your “no star” coin:

Normally I would say “filled” die, but on three stars so far from each other, that wouldn't work! I cannot see sign of manhandling of the coins, so I don't believe in that. I could misuse Photoscape or any other image application to “clone” the stars away, but I don't really believe in that either. So I suppose it's just a die, where the stars were NOT stamped into the die!

ABBE, did you find that on any other coins from 2001 or others?

As far as my spare collection is concern i can say that it is the only one that exist without those stars. But i remember long time ago when i posted that coin on social media one person also showed a picture of gia coin also without those stars…but we differ on the dates of our coin. Mine was 2001 his was i think was 2002 . i just cant remember who was he .

Im on my coin page now…what should do about it?

Doea it mean that I can add the data or modify it there?

It's a bit difficult for me to say, since I'm 100% PC oriented😉

Yes Sir, theres really a big difference between a computer and a cellphone …but i manage to feed my data & able to submit it too for further verification.

like you said, it will be checked whenever there are changes. Thanks again.

Dear Sir/Ma’am, kindly forgive me for curiousity asking these…there’s no where i can find a copy or print of my CR that i made.i can wait for the result whenever it is available but I just wanted to peep-in whether i made my CR correctly? Thanks for any advice and if there a confirmation that i did it. Thank you so much for the response.

Thank you very much ..now i know with that that i havent submitted my CR…i really appreciate  your time and kindness. Thanks again.

Apart from which, I see no requests.

Maybe someone else can see it, or you can submit it again.

The page: N#1680

I guess your request was to add in Comments a picture of your coin?

EDIT: Just seen your reply - so yes, submit again I suggest :)

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Also I could add your picture, but then you would not get the numbers of

edits on your profile - which I think is mentioned on a different topic of yours.

Mine: Catalog contributions 636 pages added, 0 sales records and examples added, 44,501 edits

so yours would start off - from / to

Catalog contributions 0

If thats the case for now then its fine with me sir. My focus  for now is hopefully to get a legit identification for my coin. Besides my name will also be mentioned on the comment section hopefully upon succeding . Im tottaly satisfied with that . Ill try to

improve myself in the time to come. Thank you again Sir.

may i also ask again? I finally saw my Catalog Request files and i notice there was a notification asking me some question related to my coin. Smithvikings appears to have questions. Will i directly answer to that? Im asking to make sureim on the right path. Thank you again.

Yes, make the changes requested, then submit again,

and it should appear back on the pending request list. Thanks

Thank you very again Sir for guiding me.

Dear Sir/Ma’am, as per advice i answered the questions raised to me by a certain SMITHVIKINGS. Fortunately after a minute i scrolled back again to find out that my Catalog Request have been VALIDATED.

May i know  if i may, what it means? Thank you again.

The request came though on my list just now, so I validated it.

N#1680

I was expecting it to appear in the Comments section,

but it appears below the year lines in the section

Examples of the type

 Not sure why it then does not show in the edits numbers of the member;

anyone in the team know why, or suggest where it should be put

to make it appear as an edits number on the profile?

 Thanks :)

 EDIT: Just seen your message,

and validated means approved, so it is now on the page.

See what I just wrote [and image below] - thanks!

Apart from all that, your name at least is now below that picture!

I really do appreciate your time and kindness My good Sir. Im just too excited and getting confused because im a beginner and not literate on computer tools. Thank you really for personally understanding me.

from now on all i do is wait for the final result.

again accept my apolofy and thanks.

I am really sorry for creating disturbance perhaps. i can see that my request now appeared on the EXAMPLE OF TYPES, i thought a referee would still evaluate my request and hopefully would consider it as a another VARIANT.  Is it final to just identify it as ANOTHER TYPE?. I iust wish for another consideration if there is a chance that it wil be identified as ANOTHER VARIANT. But whatever is the reault then i will fullr respectand comply with it.

my thanks again.

I have no  intention of going beyond all of your opinion and judgement. We look at you all as experts to this area. As you have said, you also wonder why it did not appeared on the comment section. Meaning that there is something significant on my discoveries. Thats why i hope and i wish that a reconsideration could happen to identify it as another VARIANT.

and again, my respect  ang thanks remains whatever is the outcome.

thank you very much again.

Or perhaps, just move it to the comment section as it is. That way i will somehow feel the significance of my coin. All of this are merely my opinion and suggestion and i again i have no intention of whatsoever to go beyond your judgement and verdict. my respect and appreciation for everything will remain.

thanks a lot to all of you.

Hi,

you never used this graphic, I'm surprised? It's better than some images added in the year line

@ABBE   Maybe use that kindly created graphic in the above reply and

add it to the Comment section. Leave your other picture where it is for the moment.

That might change Edits from 0 to 1 hopefully.

Thats very considerable of you sir. I really appreciate your being considerate. Am i going to go again on the catalog request to fill in that graphics there?

I think so. First save that graphic on your computer,

then go to the page N#1680

and go to the end and modify. Go down to Comments and

add the graphic there. At end click on Send.

Alternately, without saving graphic, open that coin page in a new tab,

then go down to Comments, then go back to first tab and

right-click ‘copy image’ and paste it in second tab.

Never done that but it might work.

Though all that is on a computer; no idea how to do anything on a phone.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Yes sir, but i have already done that. Id save the graphics to my gallery and filled it to yhe vommemt section of my CR and i send it. Heres the actual photo of my CR i sent . it is already done. Do i have to repeat sending it on a CR?

Yes - that woks! I tried that second method, 90% of the way,

and the right-click ‘Copy image’ will keep it temporarily in

a clipboard, and on the Modify page in your second tab,

go below the last graphic in the Comments section,

then type in an explanation which then below

that you can right-click again and paste the

graphic (which already has your name on I see).

I did all that as a test and never went to the end of the

page to the ‘Modify data’ button.

EDIT: Again I see your reply while I was making mine.

So if you have now done it, will see what the referee thinks,

and who hopefully has also seen this Topic. :)

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

 All done - eventually.

I saw your new request, of which I ticked only the fourth item, the graphic.

Then clicking on accept the site made all four changes, annoyingly.

I did not tick the first three boxes.

Just been back in and removed the incorrect changes -

the reverse image must not be changed, there was nothing wrong with it.

similarly with it not needing changing then your name below it is removed.

similarly the description should not be changed.

I wish to add some wording above your Comments picture -

what do you suggest? Also, in your profile there is now Edits 1 there!

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Perhaps go back in to Comments (and nowhere else) and put in above the graphic

'Here is a new discovery where on a 2001 coin the the 3 stars are missing'.

Or something similar. Maybe also you might then get a second Edit count. :)

EDIT has been deleted.

So,i dont have to send another CR? I hope too that a referee would see it , but does your validation has not affected it? I mean can a referee still apply changes even if the CR Iis already validated? I just get too confused, but above all i do appreciate your effort to guide me meet my goals.

Technically, no need to make a new CR -

just that I thought better with an explanation above the graphic,

and also make  the count ‘Edits 2’ on your profile, hopefully.

I can make changes as well as a referee.

We can both change a page without a member doing anything -

such as I can put explanation in there, but would like the edit count to go to you.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Im so sorry…i tead your message  lately after i sent another CR. with all your advices….im really sorry.

I managed to cancelled it. I run back fast to my catalog section and cancelled my second CR. Hope it wont matter.

We keep writing at the same time!

Yes your new request appeared on the end of my list

where I hide the others above as no need to show them here.

So I ticked only the Comment words addition - and this time it did change only that.

Then as mentioned before the reverse main picture must not be changed.

Good news - I see you now have ‘Edits 2’ on your profile.

I think this topic can be closed now. Yes?!

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Thats one remarkable service you got my good sir.

i wish i could personally thank you and i really owe you a lot too for exerting your effort. Ill wait for the most final result then .

accept my sincere appreciation & thanks.

Again we write at the same time - your second reply I did not see until now.

That coin page right now as I see it looks alright.

So no need now to change anything else.

Do you agree? From your profile now:

Catalog contributions:  0 pages added, 1 sales records and examples added, 2 edits

So after all that, the Examples picture did count in the numbers.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Your nice reply was on here, again, while I made a reply.

So yes - do you think the page now looks alright -

keep the Comments and Examples as they now are?

 I think so. Thanks :)

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Yes Sir! Case closed! so very satisfied! And not only that…you have improved my profiles too! Im dearly thankful really for all of this wonderful things. All became possible because  of you My good Sir!

im giving all my heartful thanks and appreciation and most of all accept my SALUTE!

May the Good LORD guide & bless us all always!

 Thanks! Amen. ⛪

I have the feeling, you would NOT be able to enlarge the graphic by doing a copy-paste?

As I thought, the graphic can NOT be enlarged!

Why not put the 2001 graphic in a slot corresponding to the chronological year of the comments?

You could be right. What was uploaded, I have just seen was

that graphic, but with also other things outside it. So I saved the original

on my computer just now, and replaced what was there.

The original was expandable, so may have been uploaded as it was,

and may not be copy-paste. Anyway the page is now alright.

Thank you for your hint. :)

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

We write at the same time! I replaced as you suggested -

see my reply just made. What was on there was expandable,

but included other things around it.

So where that was is now your original. Thanks!

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

I mentioned a few replies ago that I was not sure if it should be at the top,

so have now moved it to above the last graphic. Hope that is now alright.
