Free input of Tags

Would it be possible to make the Tag section not pre-selected, but rather be able to add our own tags? Say for instances, I've been uploading Military Challenge coins, there are several symbols or images that are not on the tag list (i.e. Dragon, United States Navy Seal, Military Aircraft, etc.) And things such as elongated pennies, we would be able to add 'Universal Studios" or “Captain America” as tags. Rather then having to request a tag added, I think collectors would love to be able to add our own tags.

If you want to ‘tag’ items for your own purposes (be it special features or where the item is located etc.) you can add any word in a public or private comment. You can then search for the terms HERE under the filter 'My comment'.

If you referred to public tags like the currents, the result could be a mess. Equivalent or with misspelling tags, could be created, and they could not be translated.

The problem, in my opinion, is that requests for a new tag take a long time to be resolved https://en.numista.com/forum/tickets.php?type=tag and we want to use them immediately.
