Colchester Mint

1 post • viewed 12 times

We have the roman name Camulodunon Camulodunum, modern-day Colchester, United Kingdom – Numista as the mint in the database, however for coins such as Penny - Edward (Trefoil Quadrilateral type) - England – Numista the name Colchester or variant of it were in use. Therefore, does the name of the mint need changing to incorporate this or do we just accept the roman name for the Colchester era coin?

Advice welcome.
