Good time to steer clear of Vatican City coins?

I have a feeling the prices of these will shoot up on online auctions as a) sellers try to cash in on the rarity of the Pope retiring and b) foolish saps lap up said coins at said exorbitant prices. Luckily I've managed to get a few in the last week at well under catalogue value, but I really don't think I'm going to be as lucky in the future. What are your thoughts on it?  Anything else you think it might be a good idea to steer clear of?

Vatican coins are like stocks.

Sell them now, and buy them in the future when they aren't too expensive (if you are willing to sell them, that is).

I don't really want to sell mine, I'm just annoyed that I probably won't be picking up quite as many bargains in the near future.

Any time is a good time to steer clear! Mine practically melted me when I touched it!

The issue will be only the 2 euro coin commemorating Sede Vacante. The mintage will be 125,000 coins.

In 2005, the last Sede Vacante, 60,000 eurosets were minted with the 8 values​​. The current prize is about € 450 in shops.

Also there will be two collector coins in silver and gold of 5 and 10 euros.
