Need help with Awadh coin

I need some help from someone with knowledge of Indian coins to determine the regnal year and mint of this coin. It is a 1267 Awadh rupee, weighs 10.9 grams and is 23 mm in size and is silver.

It has to be either a KM#365.1 (22mm, Muhammadabad Banaras mint)

N#62496

OR a KM#365  (25mm, Lucknow mint)

N#54111

I couldn’t find anything resembling either of the two mint marks as seen below.  Furthermore, my coin is 23mm so that doesn’t seem to help much since the two possibilities are 22 and 25 mm.

So A) Is this coin a KM#365.1 or a Km#365 and

B) what is the regnal year (3, 4, or 5?).

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry. I tried to add the other side of the coin but it didn’t make it somehow. It is there now.

The mint is down the left side but I'll take your scan and enhance it a bit and get back to you

The regnal year is there as:  sana 4 (year4) as I have marked in red. It could also be a 2 as it's an odd shape for either 2 or 4,

Here is my coin of the same type, the mint including it's epithet is:-  Mulk Awadh Bait al-Sultanat Lakhnau and yours is also the same,  I can clearly see most of the parts inc  Lakhnau at 11 oclock on your photo!

See if you can spot the top of bits of the mint by my coloured lettering

Vic65, thank you for your help.  Sorry to take so long to get back to you but I was out of town for the better part of last week and just got home yesterday.  I do indeed see the Lucknow mint mark at 11:00 on my coin.  So that is settled.

As far as the regnal year, I originally thought it was a RY3.  It looked to me like a “3” that you see on Indian, Egyptian, or Ottoman coins but missing the vertical downstroke.  You suspect it is a “4” but could be a “2”.  However, according to Numista this year (AH1267) only comes in RY 3, 4,  or 5.  Do you think it is possibly a “3” based on my interpretation or most likely as you suggested, a “4?"

Again, many thanks for taking the time to help me.  I really appreciate it.

I think it's most definitely 4, see the photo of your coin, my coin and an Awadh rupee (of a different ruler), the number 4 has many different designs in Indian coins, my example above has the same deign

Oh...I see it now.  It is upside down on my coin.  Thanks.

You mention that Numista only mention RY 1,3, 4,5  I don't know where they got that info as zeno has examples of RY2 and no RY 5 are recorded https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=216559  zeno is way more reliable for Indian coins as you can see multiple examples of many of the coins.

A bit more interesting info,  the coin on Numista you linked to N#54111  does have RY 5 but it's wrongly identified as it does not  bear the name Lakhnau, the mint clearly shows as Akhtarnagar  so that's why I suggest zeno for accuracy on Indian coins

I have gone on zeno a few times but have shied away from it because it seems to be much more difficult for me to navigate.  I’ll have to try to get on it more and figure it out.

One of the big advantages of zeno is you can  select a gallery view of coins of the same type, this can be useful if your coin is hand struck and off centre and the complete legends cannot be worked out without comparing others. https://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=15632

A big part of my problem is I can't find the coin I want to research because when it asks to enter a coin number I don't know what coin number they are referring to.  Anything I put in (K# or N#, e.g.) doesn't work.
