1 Pice 1946 India - British

Greetings, dear numismatists!

Today I encountered a mysterious coin and I ask for your help in its identification. I came into possession of a 1 pice coin from 1946, minted in British India. The problem is that I cannot find any mention of such a coin in any reference book.

The essence of the question is as follows: Is this a genuine coin? Perhaps it is a rare variety or a minting error that has not been recorded in the catalogues. If not, what is it? Could it be a fake or just a souvenir token that imitates an Indian coin? I would appreciate any information that can shed light on this discovery. If anyone has experience or knowledge in the field of Indian numismatics, please share your insights!

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

But  that's a common 1945 coin you linked to and the coin in question is 1946 🤨
