Roman provincial coin - possibly Augustus [solved]

3 posts • viewed 56 times

Hello everyone! I have this roman provincial coin with greek/macedonian writing on it. I think the person on it is Augustus since the portrait is quite similar to him. Weight is 7,13 grams and diameter is 19,6-19,3 mm. A strange thing is that the edge is completely consistent, looks almost grinded down? Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much! I was indeed correct about Augustus.
