First of all, let me say that I don't really like Euro coins that much, but they still have a special place in my collection as they were the first coins I collected on my first overseas trip. I thought it was really cool that a country's coin design can circulate in all the countries of the Eurozone and it was a lot of fun finding a coin from Slovakia or Portugal while travelling in Ireland.
So my question is, how to organise and display Euro coins? At present I have an album specifically for Euro coins and I have all the 1 cent coins together, then the 2 cent etc. Recently I have been considering dismantling this album and storing displaying the Euro coins with the rest of the coins from the country they were issued by. For example, French euro coins would go in my France album. Much the same way they are organised on the Numista database.
My euro coins are kept in my "Europe 1995-2009" bin, each year into its own cell, alongside my same-age coins from the UK, Switzerland, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe.
I would like to have Whitman-style folders for eurocoins, but haven't found a local source for them yet.
Since they don't really form any part of my collection I store my euros which I collect from where I have visited in 2x2 flips. I'm buying an album simply for these coins, as we plan to visit many places and I'm also putting a page in front of any holder, with photos of the holiday where and when and a description of the coins !

There are a bunch of them around, but I am not sure it is worth to buy/grab them.
Having said that, I still do not know how to do it, so I have a huge box, weighting over 2 kilos, where I store them... and I have a big pressure from my sons, who claim... that we should buy beers ...
Nevertheless, I am still protecting the collection
A small part of my insanity is that I am attempting to assemble a complete date/mint set of euro coins. Because of the large number of coins involved, I store them in 2x2 flips in pages in albums. I have my euro coins organized in amongst the other coins of the country by denomination/date. For example, 5 centimes, 5 euro cents, 20 centimes, 20 euro cents in that order in the album.
My euro coins go into a separate album, then by country. Lighthouse makes coin albums with specific sheets sized just for euro coins and you can use the included flag tabs per country.
