I am looking in my copy of check your change 2008 and it mentions a partially frosted proof was given out in a Bass Charington  premotion and it states more comparison is needed at this stage.

Does anyone have one or know of anywhere online there are pictures?

Yep thats the one. I believe there is a Proof variety where the portrait is not frosted.
