I see your point Sujit, but I am not seeing any evidence on the obverse though.
I notice that the " clash " is also beneath the numbers and letters rather than part of it, it looks like the letters and numbers are applied over the portrait.
I need to study it a bit more to be certain but it looks dodgy to me.
