Anything rare?

Is anything in my collection relatively rare?

Also, I have a coin (will post photo later) which looks like real gold, it's a commemorative one of some contest that happened 150 years ago in France. The coin is labelled "Concours International de Puteaux 9 Juin 1878", and bears a civic crown on the inscripted side and on the flip side, the symbol of Liberty "La Marianne" with République Française written. Is it worth anything?

rare? nope
What about the (I've checked, it is) Gold commemorative medallion? A silver similar one is 200 dollars on ebay.

it depends on who you ask, some people who collect medals might pay more than the gold price but most often modern medals are worth only the gold value.
is 1878 considered modern?

sorry I thought that it commemorates something that happened in 1878
It does, but it was actually minted then!
