Help on identification on 2 Roman coins [solved]

8 posts
Hi everyone,

I have 2 Roman coins I cannot identify. I took pictures, but realised that they are not sharp enough. I can redo them tomorrow, but maybe someone can help anyway:

Here is No 1:

As far as I can see, front is a man with a crown, I can read only some letters"...stumus..."
Back is a women with a helmet and a spear...since I cannot decipher the letters - maybe some are Greek?

Here is coin no 2:

Front I can see 2 men, one giving a crown ( or laurel wreath) to the other one.
Back a man with a crown...

Any help/hints are appreciated, thanks a lot in advance. Please excuse the bad quality pictures!

Both coins are easily identifiable once clearer pictures are posted.  I have an inkling on both coins, but will wait til clearer pictures are posted  :)
a very good word search can be found here:
http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/

they both look roman
The name around the head, starting left, is the name of the emperor.
The 3 last letters are AVG
Non est totum quod splendet ut aurum
Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
Thanks for your efforts!
So I went to my neighbour to get a decent camera. Here are better quality pictures:

Number 2

I still have difficulties reading the letters...I guess I am just to blind or stupid...
Attribution for the first coin is as follows (more information at http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/postumus/i.html):

Roman Empire: Postumus (260-269 CE) AR Antoninianus, Cologne Mint (RIC V, Part II-318)

Obv: IMP C POSTVMVS P P AVG; Radiate, draped, cuirassed bust right
Rev: PA X  AVG; Pax standing facing, head left, branch upward in right hand, transverse scepter in left; P in left field

The following coin is NOT mine and hence is posted for illustration purposes...

Great! Thanks a lot!
Indeed the link you sent is a valuable source!
So one has been identified!!
This one was harder as multiple coins fit the bill and the legend was a bit difficult to read, but I think I cracked it (see http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/valerian_I/i.html):

Roman Empire: Valerian I (253-260 CE) AR Antoninianus, Uncertain Syrian Mint (RIC-287)

Obv: IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG; radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right
Rev: RESTITVT ORIENTIS; Oriens, turreted, standing right, presenting wreath to emperor, standing left, holding spear

The following coin is NOT mine and hence has been added for illustrative purposes...

Thanks a lot! Great work!
