THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FAST REPLIES, I THINK I NOW HAVE ENOUGH RECIPIENTS AND WILL TRY TO SPLIT MY COINS BETWEEN THOSE WHO EXPRESSED AN INTEREST.
I was putting my collection in (relative) order and now have about 3 lb (1.2 kg) of the coins that I don't need any longer. They are mostly small denominations and there is a lot of repeats - like about 100 pcs of German 1 pfennig KM#105, probably a hundred + of the Netherlands 1 cent KM#180, about fifty of Soviet Union 1 kopek Y# 126a and a couple of dozens of 1 euro cents. The rest is a mix with some repeats.
I am willing to give them away for free provided that you pay for the postage, which is rather high here in Canada. I will split them in to 3 or 4 lots or ship those multiples separately to those who are interested.
Please indicate your interest here in Forum and I'll contact you by PM.

I am interested in two of each coin, but no euro coins please.
I will happily send you the postage of course and thank you very much for your generosity
May I suggest that Daryl (ALLRED1950) would be a most suitable recipient. He's currently working long shifts and so he won't be able to see the offer until the weekend but I know his main collecting interests are one cent coins just like you are offering.
I think that he has been the most generous member of Numista for many years and has given away countless coins. I'd be hard pressed to think of anyone more deserving. Of course the matter is entirely for you to decide, I just thought it might be nice for him to have something in return for his many, many kindnesses.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

Much agreed! I backed out so glykan can send "my" coins to Daryl.
By the way Phil, get on Facebook - Matt has something for you!

Hi Daryl,
Thanks for your offer, but I already have Fiji 1/2 cent 1954. Instead, what we can do (when you got some time - no rush at all) is to see if we can swap some small denominations. I do collect all smallest denominations of all countries and mints and still miss a lot of variants.

This quote is priceless.
Phil, this is so great! Thanks for doing this great thing.
Allred, l hope you get some better hours, working too much will hurt you. I worked too much last year and almost died.
He sent me a pure wool official Royal Mail fleece right out of the blue a while ago. (I was born and educated in England for anyone not aware) The type that mailmen wear during the cold English winters. It's going to see a lot of wear once we spend our first winter in the Tennessee mountains after 12 years in Florida. I never asked how he got it or even considered how much it is worth but to me it's priceless, as is the friendship we have developed.
Over and above it's usefulness as a swapping marketplace and cataloging tool, Numista's greatest asset is it's sense of community and I consider myself blessed to have made so many good contacts all over the world. Some of these have blossomed into genuine friendships. I get a great deal of pleasure from bringing some small satisfaction or comfort to those I hold an affection towards.
I merely took care of the postage on behalf of an old friend who was too busy working to do so, Glykan is the one making a very kind offer to a relative stranger and supplying the actual coins.

You hear some bad stories about rogue swappers but its uplifting to read this dialogue about genuine friendship and companionship.long may it continue. Congrats to all involved .

yep, in the long run its best to sick with it and not let a few bad swappers ruin it for you, I have seen several members leave Numista because they refused to read the warning signs and got mad when they lost to a scammer. If you swap enough, its inevitable to loose out sometimes, but in the long run its something you have to look past to see the bigger picture.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
