Does anyone work for the UK Royal Mint?

OK, so I *think* I'm one coin away from completing my first collecting objective; 1 type of all UK coins since decilmalisation (1971-), excluding gold and silver coins. However I'm doubting my success. The Royal Mint lists all £5 coins on it's website; which is great. But on a separate page under the 'London 2012' section there is also a long list of £5 coins, some of which I own an example of e.g. Celebration of Britain: Big Ben. I don't have any example of all of these 'London 2012' coins because it seems the majority are only available in silver, not cupronickel. So now I'm thinking maybe all of these coins were available in cupronickel at some point. Before I email the Royal Mint for a clearer picture of the £5 coin mintage figures I thought I would pose the question on here; how many non-gold & silver UK £5 coins are there?

UK Decimalisation coin totals by type (judging by my records!); -
1/2 Pence 2
1 Penny 7
2 Pence 7
5 Pence 6
10 Pence 6
20 Pence 4
25 Pence 4
50 Pence 50
1 Pound 26
2 Pounds 31
5 Pounds 33
Total 176

Hi, I've been collecting £5 coins as well when the silver coins you talk about began to appear on the royal mint website I waited to see if they would release them as cupronickel coins but it never seemed to happen I think there were only three of the celebration of Britain coins released as a cupronickel proof.
I used to like it when you could get the coins as a £5 for £5. When the Henry VIII coin was issued it was in royal mint packaging and I waited for it to be a £5 for £5 coin and they never did it since then I have been buying all the £5's as soon as they are on their site.
If you check the numista website they seem to have all the cupronickel £5 listed. What is the £5 that you think you still need as I have a book called "Check Your Change" it's not up to date last entry 2010 Countdown to the olympics 2.

Hi Dave,

I have all the £5 coins listed on Numista, with the exception of the 2008 Prince Charles 60th Birthday; I'm just waiting to find it for a price that I'm willing to pay.

I have the three celebration of Britain coins that seemed were available in cupronickel, I guess until I see any evidence the Royal Mint have or intend to release the other celebration of Britain selection in cupronickel I'm up-to-date as far as my £5 coin collection goes.

Thanks for your reply.

Jon
