My holiday festivities were brightened by my first-time participation in the holiday gift exchange!
I received a 1702 1 Duit from Friesland from Dutchgalego, easily passing the oldest coin in my collection by over 100 years! Also 2011 5 Fils from Bahrain, and from Soviet Union, 1 Kopeek (1981), 2 Kopeeks (1984) and 5 Kopeeks (1989). Beautiful coins, and welcome additions to my collection! Thank you, Tony!
Many thanks to Jesse11 for coordinating this year's exchange, and to everyone participating. I look forward to next year!
I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it usually takes maile from Russia to get to the US cause I still haven't received my gift. It's not a big deal I just haven't ever had transactions with Russian members so I hoped some members in the US might know.

It can take a long time, dont give up hope yet.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
If you haven't received your gift yet, I suggest contacting the member that was sending to you, the same as you would for any regular swap that went a bit awry in the post. I believe/hope that everyone in this gift exchange is acting in good faith.

My person said that they sent their's, there is nothing else that I can do.
Indeed ... the coins for nthn and gridironshowcase went into (late) transit on 9th or 11th December. Strange (or reassuring?) that both coins from Estonia on their way to US got lost (or delayed?).
Hope you still get the beauties I sent you, otherwise Santa will need to make a deal with the Easter bunny for a second attempt. Santa doesn't like bad reviews!
Just call me Bram
No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

Posting the message here was enough - I received it yesterday))

We are well into the new year, but I just wanted to report a nice little surprise in the mail today. Many thanks to my Numista Santa for going the extra mile to get this across to me!
