Ireland George III 1808 Golden Proof Pattern Crown

Hi,

I only know it is the Ireland GEORGE III 1808 Golden Proof Pattern Crown, minted nowadays and with a mintage of about 1000 ? As a Chinese, I am sorry that it is hard for me to understand it. Is it a real coin with circurating and value? Or it is something like the play money? Or just for some commemoration?

I appreciate that If some expert can give me the details or tell me the story behind this coin. And is it still worth for collection? THANK YOU.
